SOCCER Funweeks returned to Ellesmere Port at Easter with a four-day course held at Sutton High School.

Around 60 youngsters, aged from five to 13, attended the popular coaching course, which was last in town during half-term in February.

The team of Uefa and FA-qualified coaches introduced some new features this time, including a radar gun to measure the speed of a shot.

They also gave the youngsters individual player profiles - personal breakdowns of their performance over the course.

Players received nutritional handouts and took part in competitions and tournaments where prizes included tickets to see Blackburn Rovers play Aston Villa in the Premiership.
