ELLESMERE Port race ace Jenny Tin-mouth scorched to her first points of the season at the fourth round of the British 125GP championship at Oulton Park.

The Honda-mounted action girl had the near 50,000 crowd on their feet as she carved her way through the pack to reach a creditable 13th place - scoring three points - by the chequered flag.

Jenny, who qualified in 21st place on the 35 bike grid, could have scored a top-10 finish had she not got caught up in the pack in the early laps.

Her three champion-ship points are the first to be scored by a female rider this season and her lap of 1min 52.57secs secured a personal best for the Port flyer around the picturesque and undulating Little Budworth circuit.

A delighted Jenny said: 'I'm really happy and hopefully I can build on this now for the next race.'
