DARTS & DOMINOES: A DISASTROUS week for Carlsberg-Tetley Open League home dart teams saw just five of the 23 hosts managing victories.

All visiting teams in the Premier Darts emerged triumphant, including second-placed Pioneers, who beat lead-ers Commercial 5-3 to reduce their points deficit to three.

Third and fourth-placed Delamere and Vine A won at Belle Vue and Lady A respectively to maintain their challenge on the leading duo.

Top arrows came from Mark Jodrill (Commercial) with a 15-darter and a 180, with team-mate Adrian Lewis also on the mark with a 17-dart leg.

The Division One Darts top four met. Leaders Hawk have moved five points clear and demoted Rockwood three places to sixth by beating them 6-2. Second-placed Bridge C remain in situ despite being held to a draw by visitors Amalgamated A.

ASELF Leisure climb five places to third after delivering a whitewash to bottom-placed RAOB A.

Division Two Darts pacemakers Amalgamated B beat Nantwich Road Club 5-3 to stay top on matches won. They have been joined by Bridge A who hammered hosts British Lion A 7-1, with third-placed Cross Keys dropping a point off the pace after drawing with British Lion B.

Division Three Darts leaders Leisure Club beat Flying Lady B 6-2 to go three points clear of Coppenhall Leighton, 5-3 winners at the Monkey.

Third-placed Kings Arms B may yet regret forfeiting a 4-1 lead in their draw with Liberal A.

No Division Four Darts home teams managed to win, three losing heavily and Imperial scrambling a draw. Lead-ers Broughton Arms hit seven at Liberal B to go five points clear of new second-placed team Nags Head B, whose seven-point haul at North Ward dropped the losers to sixth.

In Premier Dominoes, South St Snooker regained top spot after beating Raven 5-3, with Pioneers climbing four places to second after a 6-2 win at Commercial.

Division One leaders Kings A suffered their first defeat, 5-3 at Cosey Club. ASLEF Leisure move up to second on matches won after a 6-2 win at RAOB. Hawk and Rockwood share third place after Rockwood won their clash 5-2.

Division Two leaders Bridge A have opened a three-points advantage after walloping current champions British Lion A 7-1.

Second-placed Nantwich Road's draw at Mals B keeps them two points ahead of Woodside, 6-2 victors over the George.

Division Three dominoes pacemakers LMR B move five points clear after winning 6-2 at Sydney A. Kings B take over second spot on matches won after their 6-2 defeat of Liberal A, which demotes Coppenhall Leighton, held to a draw at the Monkey, to third.

Division Four leaders Nags Head B remain 100% after a 5-3 win at North Ward, who endured a night to forget. Second-placed Liberal B must be feeling giddy in such a high position, maintained by a 6-2 victory over Broughton Arms.

All teams are reminded that the Summer 2003 season presentation night is being held at the Crosville Club on Saturday, November 22 from 8pm.

All prizewinners or a nominated representative must collect trophies and cash prizes, or forfeit them.

Competitors in round-one matches of the Domino Singles Knockout will play next Wednesday while round one of the Pairs Knockouts will be contested on Wednesday, December 10.
