NINE members of Chester Ladies' Hockey Club took on Chester Wheelchair Jets on Sunday in a joint fundraiser and publicity event at Darland Sports Centre in Rossett.
The hockey team had their own coaching session with Wheelchair Jets' coach Tim Janvier and captain Anna Jackson before taking on the Jets in a match. But, despite the hockey players' best efforts, Jets took the honours.
The Wheelchair Jets' next home game is at Darland at 1.30pm on Sunday and this will also be the official launch of their new website. New signing Peter Barron, from Dublin, is expected to make his debut.
