BETH Tweddle will attempt to kick-start another year of golden glory with victory at the European Championships this weekend.

The 25-year-old from Bunbury won double gold at last year’s event in Milan before going on to win a world title for the second time and being awarded an MBE. It was the most successful – and busiest – year in the former Queen’s School Chester student’s life.

But Tweddle is now fully focused on adding to her titles at the Euros at Birmingham’s National Indoor Arena.

She said: “Up until Christmas I did things other than just training, but since then training has come first. The routines are ready so I’ll have to see what happens on the day.”
