AWESOME Shanaze Reade is European and World Champion.
The 17-year-old, from Crewe, powered to her second World Junior Women BMX title in Brazil, just two weeks after clinching the European Champ-ionships series, which has rounds in France Holland, Germany, Hungary and England.
It is a remarkable achievement for full-time racer Shanaze (below), who started out with Crewe-based Cheshire Ghostriders and still practises at the Tipkinder Park track. She said: 'I'm delighted.'
