YOUNGSTERS brushed up on their soccer skills over the half-term break - and came face to face with a Premiership legend.
Bolton Wanderers star Gary Speed dropped in on the Soccer Funweeks course at Sutton High School last Friday to hand out awards and sign autographs.
The former Wales captain's appearance was the highlight of a three-day training camp that had seen players taught ball skills and technique by qualified coaches.
Soccer Funweeks co-ordinator Paul Johnson said: 'We brought a free-kick wall and put the lads through their paces in passing games, tournaments and penalty shootouts.
'Gary also came down to meet the lads which was really exciting for them.'
