SOME of Cheshire's finest female golfers gathered in the luxury surroundings of the Vale Royal Abbey Club to contest the county title.
The main event - the A final - was won by Tytherington, who defeated Heswall, but Delamere Forest were among the honours, too.
Delamere had finished runners-up in the West Cheshire qualifiers and went on to beat Tytherington B in the final.
Meanwhile, Rob Saunders staged a terrific comeback to win the Knight's Grange knockout.
Saunders was trailing Graham Newton by two shots but won the 16th, 17th and 18th holes to take the trophy one up.
John Pattison shot the best gross score at each of the last three tournaments held by Knight's Grange Veterans.
Pattison's 80 was the best gross at the Classic Kitchens sponsored competition and a 35 in the nine-hole October medal, when he was also the Division One winner. His 39 was the best gross of the September Medal, too.
October Division Two winner was David Allcock, nett 36 and divisional winners for September were Joe Callan (32) and Bill Wardle (36).
The Classic winner was Alf Egerton with a nett 70, with Callan (72) the runner-up.
Tom Clare and Lee Steen (44pts) pipped Ian Birtles and Alan Clare (43) at Davenham BL Golf Society's MD Leisure Pairs at Boysnope Park.
Nearest the pin shots were by Clare, Paul Atkins, Steve Kania and Dave Wood.
The RBL Shield is contested at Pennant Park on October 14.
