VAUXHALL Motors will kick-start their Blue Square Bet North campaign with a trip to Steel Park to take on Corby Town on Saturday, August 18.

The match will bring back happy memories for Motors.

They beat the Northamptonshire outfit on the penultimate weekend of last season to ultimately complete their great escape from relegation.

Carl Macauley’s side’s first home game of the 2012-13 campaign follows on Tuesday, August 21 when new boys Bradford Park Avenue will be their visitors.

Bradford are one of two teams promoted from the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League – the other being Chester FC.

Motors will welcome Chester to Rivacre Park on Tuesday, October 30 for the eagerly anticipated first clash between the Cheshire neighbours.

The return match will take place at the Exacta Stadium on Saturday, February 23.

Motors, who will complete the season at home to Harrogate Town on Saturday, April 27, have been handed a favourable festive programme.

They will host Colwyn Bay on Boxing Day and then Workington on Saturday, December 29 before travelling to Colwyn Bay on New Year’s Day.

Motors begin their pre-season programme on Tuesday, July 17 away to Welsh Premier League outfit Gap Connah’s Quay on Tuesday, July 17 (7.30pm).
