WOODLANDS Athletic were the big hitters in the Ellesmere Port & District Sunday League.

They stormed to a 6-0 Premier Division success at home to A&J Aquatic with goals from Tom McGill (2), Sean Weaver (2), Liam Benson and Joel Hidalgo.

Westminster and Grace Arms also had their shooting boots on.

D Morris (2), M Lowe and S Griffiths did the damage as Grace won 4-0 at White Swan. That scoreline was bettered by title-challenging Westminster against RWJ FC.

Danny Page, Danny Read Chris Gear and Byron Jenkins were on target in a 5-1 win for Westminster, who also benefited from an own goal.

Three games took place in Division One.

FC Saviours edged a six-goal thriller 4-2 at home to fellow high flyers Cheshire Yeoman thanks to Callum Wynne (2), Michael Urnston and Nick Monaghan.

Jamie Johnson and D Dobbins reduced the arrears.

Table-topping Travellers Rest (P Evans, J Cooper) won 2-1 at Grace Arms Reserves (S Jones).

Hope Farm Rangers (Lee Hearn, Colin Griffiths) drew 2-2 at home to SCFC 94 (Shawn Robinson 2).

Rock-bottom Ellesmere Port lost 3-1 at home to fellow West Cheshire League Division One strugglers Upton AA on Saturday.

Capenhurst Villa (Mike Banks, Jack Shepherd) won 2-0 at home to West Kirby Reserves in Division Two.

But Willaston were beaten 1-0 at Heswall Reserves.

Capenhurst Reserves (Mark Ryan) lost 2-1 at Neston Nomads (Lee Cairns, Mark Nokes) in Division Three.
