CALLING all wannabe whistlers!
The Wirral FA is looking for people to sign up to a referees’ course at Cammell Laird Social Club in Rock Ferry.
Due to start on February 4, the course will run every Monday from 7pm to 9.30pm (apart from Easter Monday) until exam night on April 7.
A big screen will show the latest action clips in a fun atmosphere. The minimum age for anyone wanting to take part is 14, but there is no maximum age.
The cost of the courses, which are set by the FA, and can be recovered by refereeing just four matches, are: £55 for under 16s, £75 for 16s to U18s, and £87 for over 18s.
