OLD Wirral Hundred have failed to book their place in the Ellesmere Port Sunday League Kingkab Cup final.

Jamie Roberts scored for the Shell Division One promotion-chasers but they were beaten 2-1 in the semis by mid-table Seahorse thanks to Adam Cliberry and Ashley Robinson.

They face Travellers Rest who won 2-1 at SCFC 94, Steve Hill (2) cancelling out Wayne Mannings strike.

In the Shell Premier, leaders Bull Groves beat rivals Cat 3-2, Anthony Ashton (2) and Jack Shepherd securing the win despite efforts from Chaney Lloyd and Jason Farley.

ITCL Gunners overtook Wing Half with a 3-1 victory, Joel McLure, Tome Bowen and Ryan Abraham on target, Matt Kavanagh scoring for Wing.

Carl Frost (2) and Chris McNeill struck for Westminster as they beat Castrol Villa 3-1 (Ian Kelly).

Woodlands lost ground on Grace as the latter won 2-0 through James Watson and Steve Armitage.

In the only Division One game, Jeff Cottrell’s double ensured Hope Farm Rangers a 2-1 win at Sir Robert (Dan Rawson).
