OLD Wirral Hundred needed extra time to progress to round two of the Wirral FA Sunday Junior Cup.
They eventually ran out 3-1 winners over The Rakers at Arrowe Park courtesy of goals from, A Rowlands (2) and M Stodart.
In the Wirral FA Sunday Premier Cup, Grace Arms had their tie won in normal time. They saw off Tower 4-1 with goals from C Hughes (2), S Rowley and N Eccleston.
In the Ellesmere Port Sunday League, Westminster were the big winners of the day in the Premier Division. They saw off Seahorse 6-1 with goals from C Frost (3), M Doyle (2) amd S Weaver.
There was a 1-1 draw between Gleve Motors (R Manders) and The Cat (J Eccleston), while Thorne Heating & Plumbing defeated Woodlands 2-0 with a brace from T McGill.
Woodlands Athletic (L Howard 3, P Bennett, L Benson) saw off Wirral Wanderers (Jake Cooper 2).
In Division One, SCFC 94 netted through S Brown (2), K Robinson (2), M Newman, S Robinson and A Clay in a 7-2 success over Grace Arms Res (S Jones). Hope Farm Rangers (D Rawson 4, P Jones) saw off Travellers Rest (I Powell 2, og) 5-3.
Ellesmere Port Town Girls Under 12s returned to winning ways with a 1-0 win over Crossfields. Tash Mitchell scored. Port’s U16s girls extended their unbeaten run with a 4-1 success over Crossfields, Katie Sanders (3) and Amber Senior scoring.
