Capenhurst Villa enjoyed better fortunes.
They ran out 5-1 winners at Maghull Reserves to move up to seventh in Division Two.
Mike Urmston bagged a brace with Mark Ryan, Cameron Forster and Lewis Walters sharing the rest of the Villa strikes.

Danny Ramsay got Port’s goal.
Neston Nomads won 2-1 at Merseyside Police thanks to Rob Cottrall and Alex Clare.
Just the one game survived the big freeze in the Ellesmere Port & District Sunday League.
