VAUXHALL Motors manager Carl Macauley has bolstered his squad with the signing of experienced midfielder Neil Prince.

Prince started as a youth with Liverpool before moving into the reserves in 2001.

Following his release he has had spells at Torquay United, Southport, Leigh, Lancaster City, Stalybridge Celtic and Droylsden.

Macauley said: “I have known Princey for years and he is one of those players who, on his day, can single-handedly change a game with his creative ability.

“He is a flair player who always tends to do well when the ground becomes firm so has really good starts and finishes to the season.”
