CASTROL Villa found themselves in fine goal-scoring form on Sunday.

Gary Handley and Darren Frodsham each netted a brace to contribute to an emphatic 7-3 victory over Bull Wanderers. Andy Foster, Ian Kelly and Jimmy Kelly were also among the goals for the home side, while Tony Bedward (2) and Scott Riach were on hand to spare the blushes of the Bull defence.

In a tighter affair, goals from Rob Davies (2), Ben Sherlock and Nathan Ecclestone were enough to ensure Grace collected all three points in a 4-3 win over Westminster. Goals from Billy Williams, Jonathon Egerton and Stuart Carroll proved to be little more than a consolation for the away team.

Two goals from John Lyth and another from David Smith helped FC Sportsman’s claim a 3-1 victory at Castrol Nomads. Mark Livens found the net for the home side.

ITCL Gunners went down 3-2 to White Swan, despite finding the net through Gordon Pugh and John Davies.

Phil Strapp, Iain Chapman and Phil Dowdswell were on target for White Swan.

Woodlands also fell to a 3-2 defeat, this time at the hands of Wing Half, for whom two goals from James Curtis and another from Lee Hammond were enough to secure all three points. Craig Newnes and Darrell Freeman found the net for the home side.

In Shell Division One, Grace Reserves recorded a 3-1 victory over Rivacre, with goals from Ryan Burns, Mark Tasker and Lee Beckett. Steven Lewis provided a consolation goal for Rivacre.

Little Sutton made progress in the Wirral Sunday Amateur Cup with a 7-5 home win over Heswall Legion, but Travellers Rest were beaten 2-1 by visiting Bromborough.
