ELLESMERE Port found life easy going in the third round of the Cheshire FA Amateur Cup after a 3-0 victory over Middlewich Town.
The West Cheshire League outfit had Mike Jones, Andy Walker and Peter McNulty on target at Whitby Sports and Social Club to stun the Witches, who are flying high in the Cheshire League.
Also through to the fourth round are Castrol Social (Bob Stockton, Jamie Halligan) who completed a 2-1 victory at Ashville.
But Willaston could not make it a hat-trick of successes as they were held to a 3-3 draw after extra time at AFC Bebington Athletic. Dave Forbes, Rob Foulkes and Tom Coan found the net but it was not enough with a replay scheduled for Saturday (2pm).
In Division Two of the West Cheshire League, basement boys Capenhurst Villa slipped to a 2-0 defeat at Maghull Reserves while in Division Three, Ellesmere Port Reserves were on the end of a 8-2 hammering at league leaders Hale.
