WING Half flew to seventh heaven with a 7-0 win at Castrol Nomads in the Shell Premier Division.

Hat-trick hero James Curtis led the way with Mike Mitchell, Rob Manning, Matt Kavanagh and Leigh Hammond also scoring.

ITCL Gunners returned from Bull Wanderers as 4-2 victors. Luke Eccles scored for the hosts, but two apiece for Jordan Ford and Chris Tew secured the points.

Joe Senior was on target for FC Sportsman’s but they suffered a 3-1 reverse at home to White Swan. Andy Weaver, Chris Gattrell and Richard Orme all found a way past the Sportsman’s keeper.

Grace won by the odd goal in nine as they overcame travelling Woodlands 5-4. Four from Steve Armitage proved crucial for Grace as Kev West (2), Mo Doyle and Dave Boyle all found the net for the away side. Rob Davies popped up with a goal to edge it for Grace, however.

In Division One, Hope Farm Rangers hit Grace Reserves with a 6-2 defeat. Hosts Hope Farm’s goals included a brace from Steve Cato and one for Mike Gibb, while Grace Reserves’ Darren Evans and Mike Jones scored but it was not enough.

Little Sutton’s Mike Urmston smashed a hat-trick as his side beat Sir Robert 4-2. Craig Darlington finished things off or them while Leigh Hearn bagged two consolations for the visitors.

Travellers Rest did all the scoring in their 4-1 win at Rivacre. Three for Carl Ruffer and one for Phil Evans guaranteed the win, but Travellers also gifted Rivacre an own goal.

The Bull slipped to a 3-2 home defeat against ITCL Gunners Reserves. Gary Lunt, John Chidlow and James Jones did the damage for the Gunners’ second string, with two from Garth Higginson giving Bull hope until the final whistle.
