CASTROL Social climbed into the top 10 and put daylight between themselves and the West Cheshire League Division One drop zone on Monday night as they beat Helsby 3-2.

Capenhurst Villa enjoyed greater success against Bebington Athletic in Division Two, winning 2-1 with goals from Jamie Johnson and Chris McNeill.
It was a bad day for Grange Athletic however as they suffered a 7-0 home drubbing by Southport Trinity.
In Division Three Ellesmere Port Reserves’ Mike Jones scored but they were defeated 3-1 by Hale.
