Stadium A seem to be the only challengers to USC's domination of Division Two. Ray Pierce (66-36) and Kev Tiernan (73-26) made all the difference in their 8-1 win.

Pavilions eased to a 7-2 win over Widnes Cricket Club C with masterful displays from Dave Morton (79-29) and Andy Ralph whose 73-22 included breaks of 29 and 25.

Farnworth B crept past Moorfield 6-3, Paul Worth 84-25 and Paul Coughlin 78-54 helping them along the way.

Hough Green SC A also won 6-3, starring roles being taken by Ged O'Brien (78-27) and Andy Ryan (91-40).

Hough Green SC B mirrored the A team's efforts, winning by the same scoreline, Gaz Rowlands starred with a 64-31.

Widnes Conservative Club C continue to take on all-comers in Division Three and earned another handsome 8-1 result thanks mainly to Ian Bush (82-13) and Joe Pennington (68-31) at Farnworth E.

USC B continue their quest for glory, defeating Stadium C 7-2 with Paul Taylor (66-10) and Mike Baldwin (74-21) providing the spur.

Widnes Conservative Club B won by the same scoreline with openers Tommy Galloway (67-41) and Roy Whittle (59-43) putting them on course.

Oddies triumphed 7-2 with good performances from Spen Sutton (73-26) and Mike Sheridan (55-18) late in the home meeting with Eccleston Lane Ends B.

Simms Cross B also ran out 7-2 winners as John Price (89-16) and Kev Johnson (67-19) stole the show.

In the top-of-the-table clash between RAOB B and Prescot Reform the 'Buffs' came out on top 5-4, Ste Carter's 92-9 being the highlight.

Village C also won by the odd point with Ste Brennan getting home 77-15 against visiting Mill Brow.
