A GOLF school is being held in Vale Royal during the Christmas and New Year holiday.

Children aged three to 12 years old can try their hands at the sport at Frodsham Leisure Centre.

The five-day course from Thursday, December 28 until Thursday 4 January costs £12.

The school is run by the Golf Foundation, a registered charity established to develop and promote junior golf throughout the British Isles.

It is supported by all the governing bodies of golf as well as individuals and companies who believe in its objectives and wish to contribute to the long-term future of the sport.

Three- to six-year-olds can enjoy playing Tri-Golf from 5-6pm every day and seven-to 12-year-olds can play golf from 6-7pm.

Places are likely to go quickly so book now by phoning 01928 7333953 or e-mailing frodshamleisurecentre@valeroyal.gov.uk

The club is OFSTED-registered so parents can claim childcare costs back from the Inland Revenue.
