A VOLLEYBALL club is on the up.
Chester and Ellesmere Port Eels' ladies' team has won the highly competitive National League Division Three, securing them promotion to Division Two next season.
They also had a highly successful cup campaign, reaching the quarter-finals of the National Shield.
The Eels' team is multinational, with seven different nationalities represented. It also includes two former England Juniors.
As well as competing at national level, the Eels also play in the Merseyside League and are currently top of Division One.
Players of all abilities are welcome to join, and sponsors are also being sought to share in the club's success.
