Richard Parry won the morning match on drake's canal with carp for 21-9-0, followed by Rogers (20-14-0). Top rod in the morning on dawn pool was Jimmy Price (14-8-0). Vincent won the afternoon match on drake's canal with carp for 62-6-0 ahead of Price (59-0-0). Rogers (53-2-0) was the winner on dawn pool with Andy Amos second on 49-8-0.
Andy Nichols netted top spot in the Rake and Pikel AC match on the Border Fishery, his 50-0-0 catch proving too much for Jeff Edge (23-0-0).
Cyril Knobbs triumphed in the Saltney Social AC match on the Cheshire Fishery, landing bream to 3-8-0 for a winning 22-8-0. Lee Fawcett (20-4-0) was second.
Paul Morrelle dwarfed the opposition in the Egerton Arms AC match on the Red Lion length of the River Weaver, taking bream to 3-7-0 in his 18-11-0 total.

There was no catching Billy Gore in the Rivacre AC match on meadow pool on Hampton Springs Fishery. He landed a bag of barbel weighing 48-6-0 to beat off competition from Ian Brocklehurst (28-6-0) and Dave Grimes (21-8-0).
The Lavister AC match on Oswestry's Weston Pools Fishery saw John Murdoch (30-8-0) finish clear of Steve Barwise (30-4-0) and Bob Adamson (27-8-0). The club's top senior citizen was Gordon Rose (7-8-0).
Members of Castrol AC enjoyed a four-day visit last week to fish in Plymouth out of the boat Size Matters . Jim Fellows won the first day with a 46-0-0 conger eel. On day two, Paul Langley won with a 42-0-0 conger and day three went to Martin Foster (19-0-0). Foster shared top spot with John Cappell as both took a 10-0-0 pollock.
Helsby Sports and Social Club won their friendly match against BICC Leigh on the Helsby BICC pools. Leigh's John Lawton won on pool A with 2-3-0 of roach, followed by Helsby's Terry Archer (2-2-0). The home club's Geoff Maguire won on pool B with 7-9-0 of bream.
Peter Clay was top rod in the Blacon Social AC match on the River Severn at Emstrey, taking dace, roach and chub for 6-12-0.
Geoff Paddock finished way out in front to win the Railway Barrow AC match on the River Severn at Monkmoor, landing 17-12-0 to finish ahead of Alan Dodd (12-8-0).
