CHARLOTTE Roach has returned home from Spain with a team gold medal.
The former West Cheshire AC athlete produced a superb performance on debut for the Great Britain junior ladies squad at the European Cross Country Championships.
Charlotte, currently a student at Cambridge University, was fourth overall at the event held at Toro, in north east Spain.
The teenager, who now represents Vale Royal AC, finished just behind eventual winner and Great Britain team-mate, Stephanie Twell, who retained her Euro title.
