GYMNASTICS: HARTFORD Gymnastics Club held an inaugural competition at Weaverham High School - and their own members were prominent in the medal list.
The Hartford Sets attracted 124 gymnasts from six clubs and also among the award winners were Weaverham Gymnastics Club's Laura Phillips (vault) and Alicia Hough (floor) who were both silver medallists.
Both girls are coached professionally by Charlie Oakes, who also runs the Hartford club, who entered 44 gymnasts.
Hartford won 13 gold, 12 silver and 10 bronze medals through: Set One - Charlotte Harris (3rd floor, 1st vault), Isabella Roberts (3v), Anna Watkin (3,1), Jennifer Merchant (2f), Poppy Howe (3v), Rachel Newsham (3,1), Grace Roberts (1f), James Fallon (2f), Daniel Newsham (3,3).
Set Two - Helen Griffiths (2f), Rebecca Turrell (3v), Michell Huggon (2v), Rosie Collins (1f), Kathryn Howarth (2v), Alexandra Fielding (2f), Emma Nelson (1v), Lauren Hughes (1f, 1v), Clare Bennett (2f), Rebecca Annalls (3v), Maeline Burrows (2,3), Rown Pugh (1f), Sam Pettinger-Harte (1,1).
Set Three - Abby Hudson (1v), Hannah Simpson (2,2); Set Four - Kathryn Sissons (1v), Rebecca Moores (2,2).
