FIVE members of the City of Chester Triathlon Club braved Sunday's hot weather to run the London Marathon.
Chris Lees led the way, completing the 26.2-mile challenge in three hours 23 minutes and 12 seconds.
He was followed by Les Kennedy (3:41.17), Stephen Spall (3:48.57), Colin Johnson (3:55.40) and Jenny Edwards (5:06.26).
The previous Sunday saw a group of Chester Triers storming Harlech Castle in the Harlech Triathlon.
The event featured a 400m pool swim, 30k bike ride and a 6.5k run which incorporated a gruelling sting in the tail - a steep climb up to the castle.

He was followed by club colleagues Steve Spall 1:28.27 (4:54), Kelly Crickmore 1:28.50 (3:53), Peter Timson 1:33.39 (4:38), Sean Simmons 1:34.58 (5:27), Dom Miller 1:35.57 (5:15), Charlotte Riddick 1:39.20 (5:08), Andrea Mageean 1:42.02 (4:53), Sian Peart 1:42.41 (5:02) and Paul McLoughlin 1:45.12 (5:09).
