CROSSWAY picked up their first point of the Chester & District League Queensferry Sports Premier Division season last Wednesday when they drew 4-4 at Cross Foxes.
It was an excellent result for the Upton outfit given Cross Foxes – for whom in-form striker Jamie McElwaine scored all four of their goals – had won their first three matches.
Defending champions Kelsall (Sean Roberts, Sean Page, Matt Kilgallon, Martin Fitzsimmons, Neil Ashbury) maintained their 100% winning start as they edged a thriller 5-3 at Tarvin 2000 Athletic (John Winter, Dan Farrell, Kevin Leach).
But it is Kelma who top the table after their 3-1 victory at Groves.
Saughall Thursday won 4-1 at Hoole Rangers as Blacon Youth Club Highfield (Adrian Parker, Adam Fenning) drew 2-2 at home to Waggon & Horses (Danny Davies, Sam Henry).
Peacock 09 (Eddie Shields, Sean Winter, Dave Roberts, James Simpson) moved five points clear at the top of Olympic Trophies Division One with a 4-0 win at Duddon United.
Chester Nomads 3rds (Paul Gossage) won 1-0 at home to Chester Celtic.
Adi Callaghan hit a double hat-trick as Lache stormed to a 12-1 success at Boughton Athletic (Neil Stocker) in Football Bootique Division Two.
Dale Gilmartin (2), Sam Buckley (2), Callum Humphreys and Marvin Grugall completed the scoring.
