SNOOKER: MILL Brow A are Division Four champions of the Widnes & District Snooker League.
They saw off Widnes Conservative Club B and Runcorn's Pavilions B, who will play off for second place on a date to be arranged after finishing on equal points.
Conservative Club B whitewashed Moorfield C 9-0 with T Gallaway (85-55), P Gallagher (76-19) and D Whittle (80-29) starring.
Pavilions B defeated Prescot Reform 8-1 while Oddfellows claimed a creditable sixth spot with a 5-4 defeat of Widnes Cricket Club B, D Christopher triumphing 90-26.
United Services Club B, already champions of Division Five, rounded off with a 7-2 win against Birchfield.
Tony Standen's 60-11 frame win included a 25 break while M Spray (85-34) also starred.
Village Rooms' 6-3 win against Widnes Rec C featured success for J Sheehy (71-18) and P Baker (69-53).
It leaves them six points clear of third-placed RAOB C, who have a game outstanding.
