Boxing: Legends Nigel Benn and Steve Collins to go head-to-head at Ellesmere Port Civic Hall

BOXING legends Nigel Benn and Steve Collins will go head-to-head once more in Ellesmere Port next month.

Two of the sport’s greatest adversaries will meet in more amiable circumstances at a sportsman’s dinner held at Ellesmere Port Civic Hall on June 10.

Collins became the first man to beat Chris Eubank when winning the WBO super-middleweight in 1995.

The ‘Celtic Warrior’ went on to twice defend the belt against the ‘Dark Destroyer’ Benn, who also has an epic history with Eubank following two high-profile fights in the 90s.

Tickets are £50 and include a five-course meal.
