PRESENTATIONS of all outstanding Frodsham & District Bowling League’s cups and prize money will take place on Monday.
The accolades will be handed out at the start of the league’s management meeting at Helsby Community Sports Club in Chester Road, Helsby from 8pm.
All individual recipients and team representatives should attend or arrange for somebody to collect prizes on their behalf.
The biggest single payouts will go to the title winners in the four sections with Red Lion A (Division One), Norton Arms B (Division Two), Halton RBL A (Division Three) and Union Tavern (Division Four) picking up £150 each.
Collecting £80 as runners-up in the respective divisions are Grapes A, Helsby B, Crowton and Kingswood A with £40 going to third-placed teams Tiger’s Head A, Egerton, Pavilions D and Helsby C.
The sides finishing fourth in each division receive £20 apiece – these being Goshawk A, Castle Park B, Kingsley A and Hazel Pear respectively.
Winnings for the section averages will go to Graham Donnelly of Kingswood B in Division One, Norton B’s Jon Terretta (Division Two), Ed Carter of Conservative Club B in Division Three and Kingswood A’s Barry Stopford (Division Four). They are to collect equal shares of £200.
The other outstanding trophies and payments are for the Fred Rogers Cup and Alf Jones Cup. Winners Helsby B and Manley B, respectively, will receive £100 each with £50 to both runners-up, Manley A and Crowton.
Trophies and prize money in the Frodsham Merit (won by Barry Ellams of Red Lion, £80), Frank Edwardson Cup (Mike Ellison, Runcorn War Memorial, £80) and Frodsham Doubles (Graham Hodson & Chris Koral, Tiger’s Head, £100) were presented on the competition days.
