STOCKCAR racer Richard Mawdsley has attracted a sponsor in his quest for the Brisca Formula 2 Novice Cup.
The first-year driver from Great Sutton is doing well in the newcomers category of the national series and is set to do even better now he has the support of local car dealership Hollywood Car Sales.
Mawdsley, 30, said: 'The company has agreed to pay for my race and travel fuel costs which lifts a weight off myself.
'It could enable me to compete in more races which helps me earn more points and improve my ability as a driver.'
