PLAYERS and coaches from Cheshire Panthers Basketball Club gathered for the club’s presentation night.

The trophies were donated and presented by local councillors Angela Claydon, Ben Powell and Paul Donovan.

It has been another successful year for the Ellesmere Port club, who play National League basketball with under 13 to U18 boys and U14 to U18 girls.

Four squads this year reached the play-offs, with two U18 players making the England squads and another two playing for Wales.

The club, which is based at Stanney Oaks leisure centre and Sutton High School, are always happy to welcome new players and are looking for more coaches to train the squads ready for next season.
