BIG Storage Cheshire Jets’ youngsters travelled to RAF Cosford in Shropshire to do battle in the national play-offs.
The Jets’ under 16 boys took on Manchester Magic in the first round of ‘Final Fours’ weekend. They lost out to their North West rivals 57-83.
Next up came a close-scoring match against the City of Birmingham.
But again the Jets just came up short as they were narrowly beaten 82-78.
In the U14s girls Final Fours the Jets girls also appeared.
Following great wins in the play-off heats against Northampton and London, the Jets pushed hard but fared no better than their male counterparts.
Strong performances from M Johnston, skipper L Wilson, L Deponeo and S Reddy were supported by R Breen, R Cooke, A Lord and C Perry but the Jets still finished fourth.
