WEST Cheshire AC’s youngsters blasted a path to glory in the third round of the Cheshire Track and Field League.

The club’s under 11 squad finished in pole position at Bebington Oval.

Charlotte Williamson posted 11.7 seconds for first position in the 75m and won the B long jump with 3.33m, alongside Tess Corr (12.3/75m), Eloise Edwards (second in the long jump with 3.41m), Rosie Webber (first in the B javelin with 6.78m), Toni Lammond (2:30.9 in the 600m), Emily Titlow (5.81m in the javelin) and Olivia Williams (12.29m for first place in the javelin).

James McMahon won the U11 boys long jump with 3.58m, while Matthew Pagan posted 11.2 seconds in the 75m, Jack Johnson ran 2:18.5 in the 600m, Elijah Montez-Brown finished third in his 75m (12.7) and Kieran Atkinson won his 75m in 12.6 and ran 2:04.1 in the 600m.

Olivia Montez-Brown achieved second spot in the U13 girls long jump with 3.96m, while Amy Williams posted 14.3 seconds in the 100m and finished second in the B long jump with 3.77m.

Laura Jones hit 8.47m for second spot in the B javelin and Lucy Earl delivered 14.7 (100m), 8.63m (javelin) and 3.64m (long jump).

Alice McMahon was one of three U15 girls competing for West Cheshire, managing 12.9 seconds in the 100m, 5.99m in the shot and 1.35m for third place in the high jump.

Danielle Erskine posted 13.6 in the 100m, and Emma Johnson grabbed third place in the B shot (5.51m) and 14.7 in the 100m.

Kate Titlow rounded the ladies 1,500m in a winning time of five minutes 9.6 seconds, and Emily Clarke clocked 13.9 in the ladies 100m, spun the discus to 15.64m and hit 4.49m for fourth place in the long jump, while Debra Erskine finished third in the A discus (15.74m) and third in the B long jump (3.10m).

Alex Kirk (1.30m) and Yousef Khalifa (1.20m) secured victories in the U13 boys high jump, alongside shot winner Joel Langmead (6.60m) and Leon Langmead, who posted 31.7 in his 200m.

Stephen Jones clocked 25.7 in the 200m and long-jumped 4.85m, while Joseph O’Riordan hit 25.11m for third spot in the javelin and delivered 4.36m in the long jump, and Michael Bailiff finished second in the B long jump with 3.68m.

Danny Meadows (2:00.1) and Connor Arden (2:27.7) represented West Cheshire in the U17 men’s 800m.

Alan Littler clocked a new men’s 100m best of 13.0 seconds and ran 2:23.7 in the 800m, while Russell Kirk delivered 13.2 (100m), 2:14.7 (800m) before teaming up with Dennis Wall and Neil Atkinson to earn second spot in the 4x100m relay.
