WEST Cheshire AC ace Rob Tudor won the last race in the Lancaster 5k series.

Tudor passed the post in 16 minutes and three seconds for victory on Saturday.

Iain Wedge, meanwhile, finished 25th overall and the seventh-fastest over 40s male in a time of 85:13 in Sunday’s Macclesfield Half Marathon.

Seven days earlier Mark Povey represented West Cheshire AC at the Hoylake 10k, posting 45:08 for 78th place.

Andrew Clague led the club’s charge in the third-round match of the Wirral Multi-Terrain League at Thurstaston.

He finished 14th in 29:51 and was followed by Mark Davies (28th in 31:16), Russell Kirk (33rd in 31:42), Paul Frodsham (37th in 31:53), Max Woods (45th in 32:48), Neil Atkinson (55th in 33:44), Joe Foy (58th in 33:58), Bob Benson (81st in 35:21) and Brian Hastings (124th in 41:59).

Sacha Kendall-Woods (31st in 35:49) and Sinead Malone (57th in 48:52) completed the women’s race.

Charlotte Williamson, Danielle Erskine and Jenni Potter competed for West Cheshire AC in the Liverpool Jumps and Throws Meeting at Wavertree.

Williamson won the under 15 girls long jump in 4.40m and Erskine the U20s women’s long jump in 4.92m.

Potter was second in the U17s women’s hammer with 32.72m.
