ANDREW Clague was West Cheshire AC’s first finisher at the Farndon 10k Road Race.
He clocked 38 minutes for 17th position, ahead of club colleagues Dave Hough (77th in 43:56), Alan Cooper (85th in 44:55), Mary Radford (253rd in 58:18), Tony Thackray (255th in 58:35) and Brenda Sharp (292nd in 67:02).
The English Schools Cross Country Championships take place on Saturday at Sefton Park, Liverpool.
