A TRIP to Premier Division pacesetters Lancaster City is the Motormen's reward for seeing off the challenge of Harrogate Town on Saturday.
Vauxhall will return to the Giant Axe on Saturday, October 27, the scene of a 2-0 defeat in their first Premier Division away match on August 21.
Last weekend's North Yorkshire visitors had only lost one league game all season and started brightly, shocking the Motormen by taking the lead in the 16th minute.
Dave Morris pushed into the Vauxhall area and beat Matt Haddrell before his cross was directed into the home net by skipper Phil Brazier.
But four minutes later Neil Rigby's lofted ball into the box found Haddrell, whose cross was met by a diving header from Nicky Young.
Immediately after Vauxhall scored, Harrogate replaced their injured keeper Ashley Connor for Chris Hill.
Motors took the lead on the half-hour as Haddrell's right-wing cross was nodded down by Terry Fearns.
Vauxhall continued to push forward in the second half and extended their advantage on 69 minutes as Fearns bagged his brace.
The ace poacher was on hand to fire in the rebound after Hill failed to hold on to Haddrell's low shot.
Stand-in keeper Steve Hilton then ensured there was no nervous finale as he got down well to his left to deny Peter Atkinson from the penalty spot.
Vauxhall: Hilton, Rigby, Thompson, Brazier (Croxton 74), Cullen, Lynch, Haddrell, Lawton, Cumiskey, Young, Fearns. Attendance 409.
