Basketball fans in Flintshire will be able to see top-flight British basketball next week as the Cheshire Phoenix take to the court across the border for one night only.

The Nix will be renewing rivalries with their BBL Trophy semi-final conquerors Glasgow Rocks on Wednesday (7.30pm) at Deeside Leisure Centre, Queensferry.

Head coach John Lavery's men are vacating their usual Northgate Arena home for the night for their BBL regular season game against the Rocks,  and it’s hoped a full house will turnout to cheer the Nix on and claim revenge over their Scottish rivals.

The Nix have enjoyed a successful season so far and are aiming to secure a top-five berth in the BBL and set themselves up with a favourable draw in the end of season play-offs.

Ticket prices have been reduced for the game, which will be Lavery’s side’s penultimate BBL home fixture. Admission costs £10 for adults and £5 for children.
