SAUGHALL Colts cruised to a 3-0 victory over Vicars Cross in the under 16s section.

Goals from Jack Woodward, Aidan Stoakely and Chris Humphreys gave them the win. Man-of-the-match was Colts midfielder Sam Patchitt.

Great Sutton and Parkgate shared the spoils with a 2-2 draw. Great Sutton’s Joe O’Brien hit two penalties.

Newton beat Hope Farm 4-2 while Upton defeated Christleton Newscene 2-0. Rossway lost 2-0 at home to Whitby Rangers.

Princes Villa were dumped out of the Duke of Westminster Cup by a 1-0 home loss to Pulford.

In the U15s division, goals from Joe Killoran and Mark Nelson could not save Chester Nomads from a 3-2 defeat at home by Malpas. Nomads’ MoM was Ryan Lightfoot.

Vicars Cross Dynamos won 3-1 at Whitby Strikers. Newton Athletic lost 5-1 at home to Bunbury with Chris Edwards grabbing the consolation. Ryan Croft netted four for the visitors and David Donkin scored one. Newton MoM was Stephen McQuilliam.

Elton Youth and Upton NorthŠdrew 4-4 in a hard-fought encounter. MoM Ethan Marshall scored twice for Elton while Jordan Williams and Luke O’Neill added two more.

Boughton recorded an emphatic 10-0 win over Mid Cheshire League side Helsby to reach the Cheshire Junior Cup’s last 16. Boughton’s goalscorers were MoM Stevie Lee-Butler (4), Sean Atkinson (2), Charlie Everall (2), Ryan Farrell and Chad Williams.

In the U14s section, Chester Nomads Colts suffered their worst defeat this season, losing 7-0 to Princes Villa. Thomas Johnson was Nomads’ MoM.

Vicars Cross beat Malpas 4-3, while Rossway came out 1-0 victors over Hope Farm Hotspurs when Justin Pemberton scored the crucial goal.

Pulford registered a convincing 8-0 victory over Hope Farm Rangers thanks to a James Lewis hat-trick, a Simon Edholm brace and goals from Gareth Roberts, Sam Powell and Ben Sawney. MoM was Alex Johnston.

AFC Waverton won a 6-5 thriller against Westminster Park Warriors. At 5-2 down, Warriors’ Duaine Meacock, Andy Sandford and Danny Ward made it five all. But Waverton scored the winner with virtually the last kick of the game. Adam Goldthorpe, Andy Lewis (2) and Roan Eldeman netted for Waverton. Princes Villa triumphed 7-0 over Chester Nomads.
