Saughall Colts under-11s celebrated success at the 2015 Dublin Cup, the premier youth tournament in Ireland.

An 11-strong squad travelled to Ireland for the tournament, which took place at the Athletic Union League Complex close to Dublin Airport.

The Colts were drawn in the same group as Oxford United Stars - a Manchester United feeder club based in Belfast - and Irish clubs FC Shelbourne, Ballymoney United and Celbridge Town.

Saughall, who are sponsored by Chester Lions, played two matches on the Saturday and two on the Sunday, and the team came through as winners of the Dublin Shield.

As the only English side in the group, players, coaches and parents were made to very welcome and were impressed at the sportsmanship on show.

The weekend made the perfect swansong for coaches Paul Hitchcox, Steve McQuair and Andy Price, who have stepped down after six seasons in charge.
