THE memory of a football-mad youngster tragically killed in a road accident was honoured with a charity football match on Sunday.

Boughton and Vicars Cross under 12s teams played a friendly match at Bishops’ High and raised £1,000 towards a BMX park in the name of Josh Easton, who was killed in October.

The game finished 3-1, with the man-of-the-match honours going to Jack Davies (Boughton) and Rob Charles-Jones (Vicars Cross).

The game was followed by a Boughton coaches v Boughton U15s encounter, which ended 2-2.
