VALIANT Rob Whales and Kieran Green both came back on after injury as Westminster Park Lions hosted Boughton.

Their battling could not stop the visitors, however, who won 10-0 with five in each half. Lions’ man of the match was Lewis Smith.

Boughton’s goalscorers were Ross White, Jack Artell,ŠJared Taylor, Sion Brisbane, Rhys Dowington and captain Matthew Gilmour.

Upton Blues fared better at home, beating Malpas & District 5-0.

Upton’s marksmen were Christy Levey, Forrest Darke (2), Ben Mawer and Josh Dymond. MoM went to gutsy midfielder Toby Venables.

Saughall Colts got the better of visitors Newton, winning 7-0. Saughall controlled despite the wind and scored through Aiden Heap (2), MoM Macauley Newell (2), Sam Davies, Jordan Rogers and Luke Munday.

AFC Waverton beat visitors Castrol Athletic 5-0.

A crosswind led to a tough end-to-end game but Jack Gittins opened the scoring for Waverton and Sam Mellor made it two.

The pair repeated their effort in the second half before Jack Gittins secured his hat-trick.

Park Saints continued their 100% record, beating newcomers Princes Villa 6-2. Joe Williams (2), Sam Parsons (2), Danny Williams and Billy Foster all scored, with Matty Roberts MoM.
