CHRISTLETON New Scene hit form on Saturday as they fired four goals past Vicars Cross Dynamos in the Soccer Funweeks Under 7s Division.

Mia Parry got one for Vicars Cross, but Will Robinson (2) Kyle Johns and Ben Lawrence were all on target to seal a 4-1 victory for Christleton.

Chester Nomads struck an impressive 7-0 win over Tattenhall in the U9s Cup. Doubles from Ap Gareth, Baird and Chambers plus one from Pickering saw Nomads seize all the points. Man of the Match (MoM) was Chadwick.

Blacon Youth fell 4-2 at home to Newton Athletic. Jacob Davies (2), Marc Hardman and MoM Liam King hit the target for Newton, while Blacon’s Jack Davis and James Lloyd tried to get the hosts back into the game. Blacon’s MoM was goalkeeper Thomas Rose.

Boughton really pulled out the stops against Chester Nomads Colts, beating them 4-0 on their own turf. Andy Bewley, Harry Cunningham, Joe McDermott and Jordan Lee did the damage. MoM was Andrew Oats who ran non-stop all game.

In the U9s Shield, Westminster Park Tigers were bettered by Saughall Colts Blues 3-2. Harrop and Cobdenboth scored before the winner came from MoM Winskill.

The U10s Cup saw Blacon Youth and Westminster Park Lions battle to a 0-0 stalemate. MoM was Blacon’s Joshua Matter.

Christleton New Scene also drew with Newton Athletic, but at least there were goals as they ended 1-1. Marley Jones scored for Newton, whose MoM was Dominic Doherty. New Scene’s goal came from Jack Rowlands, Luke Chard was MoM.

Malpas and District beat Boughton 3-1 thanks to goals from Alan Haddock, Ben Middleton and Tommy Speed. MoM was Steve Davis.

Christleton New Scene Reds were 4-0 winners over Upton Jaguars in the U10s Shield. Joshua Wilderspin, George Dobson, Sam Evans and an own goal handed Christleton the win. MoM for the hosts was Robbie Ashton while Sunam Husaim was Upton’s star pick.

The battle of the Hornets went to Hoole as they stung Waverton 4-1. Connor Walker got two of Hoole’s goals while Hugh Gibson pulled one back for Waverton. MoM was Aiden Keily.
