WAVERTON Ladies were in seventh heaven after beating hosts Malpas Ladies 7-0 in the Chester and District Ladies League under 14s Division.
Both teams played with tremendous enthusiasm but it was Waverton who scored early. They strengthened their lead with some superb strikes from range and, while Malpas’ goalkeeping was excellent, the goals were too good. Scorers were player-of-the-match Nicola Jones (3), Ellen Johnson, Charlotte Marsh (2) and Lia Parkin.
