CHESTER Schoolboys under 14s are heading for Prenton Park after winning their way through to the Alcock Cup final.

The Chester youngsters conquered Stockport Schoolboys in a seven-goal thriller, defeating their Cheshire neighbours 4-3 at the Cheshire County Sports Club.

Chester deservedly earned their place in the final, to be played at the home of Tranmere Rovers, with a pulsating display of attacking football.

Chester struck first after 15 minutes through Danny Jarrett’s cool finish from a left wing cross.

The second came courtesy of the impressive Liam Blake five minutes before the break.

Stockport rallied and had pulled level at 2-2 by half-time.

Chester came out fighting in the second half and regained the lead when Blake grabbed his second.

Chester finally killed off their opponents when Tom Batten collected a Blake pass to fire home

Stockport refused to lie down and grabbed another goal in the final minute to make the score 4-3.
