A LATE winner saw Blacon Youth claim a 4-3 victory over FC Porto in the Chester and District Junior League’s Under 12s Division Two.

The score was 2-2 at half time. Blacon went 3-2 up, then got pegged back to 3-3 before coming up with the winner.

Josh Rigby (2), Yaz Sati and Liam McGrath netted for Blacon, whose man-of-the-match was Josh Thomson.

The Porto goals were scored by Caelan Unwin, Billy Morgan and Charlie Berry, with Daniel Sandys their MoM.

In the Cheshire Girls League, Chester & District fell to a 4-1 defeat to Frodsham Town in the U14s section.

In the U12s division, Chester & District’s Zebras team beat Lymm Pandas 1-0. In their second game, a goal by Emma Bissell was not enough to prevent a 7-1 loss to Crossfields.

In the U10s section, Chester & District claimed a 1-1 draw with Egerton and and then earned a 0-0 stalemate in a tough clash against Davenham.
