CHESTER Nomads Colts narrowly won their under 14s division match against Boughton 3-2.

After going a goal up inside two minutes thanks to Lloyd Smith, Boughton went 2-1 through Liam Blake and Matthew Gilmour.

But a second Smith goal plus a Thomas Johnson strike ensured Nomads came back to take the points. Man of the match was Callum Woods.

Hope Farm Hotspurs beat Hope Farm Rangers 4-0 in their derby, while Malpas were in free-scoring form against Blacon Youth, running out 9-1 winners.

Vicars Cross Dynamos were beaten 5-3 at home by Princes Villa. Park Saints won 5-0 at Saughall Colts. Jonathan Morgan registered four of them with Sam Moodie netting once. MotM was Chris Taggart.

Waverton lost 5-1 to Newton Athletic despite the visitors losing their top scorer from last season, Jacob Rhoden, in the warm-up. But MotM George Williams bagged a hat-trick for Athletic to banish their worries and Dean Disley and Ryan Gresty completed the scoring.

In the U15s division, Upton North triumphed at Tattenhall 3-1. Elliot Pryce, MotM Yyanis Llambias and James White all hit the net for Upton while Henry Matthews scored for Tattenhall, whose MotM was Liam Moses.

Upton South couldn’t replicate the success, losing 2-0 at home to Boughton thanks to two goals from Stevie Lee-Butler.

Pulford’s Will Clark found the net but his side still lost 2-1 at home to Vicars Cross. Will Harris and Damon Traverse got the goals for Vicars Cross. MotM was Tomos Hughes.

Christleton New Scene enjoyed a 6-0 success at Bunbury through Cal Parry (2), Sam Manton (2), Cal McIntyre and Ben Hardman. MotM was Frazer Harding.

Blacon Youth Blacks overcame Hope Farm Hotspurs 3-2 with goals from MotM Luke Meacock and Sam Burgess (2).

Malpas beat Whitby 6-1.

Elton Youth made it three wins out of three as they emerged 7-2 victors over Blacon Youth Whites. MotM Shaun Bailiff (2), Josh Jones (2), Joseph Smith, Jordan Williams and Sam Filer all contributed to Elton’s win. Blacon’s scorers were Adam Davies and Martin Bromwich.

Newton Athletic shared the points with Whitby in the U16s Division, drawing 2-2.

Great Sutton snatched victory with a 4-3 win over Christleton New Scene. Two goals from Connor Arden and goals from Ross Harding and Danny Martin were just enough to win it for Sutton. MotM was Tom Viedman.

Hope Farm saw off Waverton 4-3, Parkgate sealed a 4-0 win over Vicars Cross and Princes Villa lost 5-1 at home to Upton.

One goal decided the game between Pulford and Saughall and it went to hosts Pulford as they won 1-0. Ed Pilkington scored it to give Pulford the points. MotM was Joe Chesters.
