CHRISTLETON High are celebrating claiming a hat-trick of Chester and District Schools titles.

Run by the Chester Schools FA, the annual 11-a-side competition caters for teams in Years 9-13.

Christleton’s success started in the Year 12/13 category where they beat hosts King’s 1-0.

The Year 11 team needed extra time and penalties to again see off the threat of King’s, this time in a 4-3 thriller, and the Year 8 side made it a treble cheer after beating Catholic High 2-0 (aet).

The Year 8 side’s success provided double cause for celebration as they have also won the County Cup with a defeat of Fallibroome.

Tarporley High enjoyed a magnificent success to claim the Year 7 crown, turning on the style to overcome King’s 7-2.

Upton beat Bishop Heber 4-2 to take the Year 10 title and King’s landed the Year 9 honour, needing extra time to see off the threat of Catholic High 3-2.
