JFC Boughton Under 14s completed their third league and cup double in four seasons by beating Tarvin Athletic 4-1 in the final of the Doug Johnson Trophy.

The Mid Cheshire Youth League side took a deserved one-goal lead into the break, but the Chester Junior League U15s Division Two champions roared back after the restart and ran out winners with goals by Jared Taylor, Liam Blake, Cameron Parker and Danny Williams.

JFC Boughton finish runners-up to Waverton Wasps in Chester & District Junior League U13s Division One after they fought back from two goals down to win 3-2 at home to third-placed Chester Nomads Colts. Charlie Jones and Aaron Hassell (2) swung the contest Boughton’s way.

There was a thrilling 3-3 draw between Waverton Wasps (Dan Hamp, Matty Harland-Jones 2) and visiting JFC Boughton in U12s Division One.

Waverton Hornets recorded an excellent 3-1 victory at U11s Division One runners-up Malpas & District as Princes Villa won 7-1 at home to Vicars Cross Dynamos in Division Two.
