BLACON Youth (Jack Davies 4, Warren Millington 2, Keenan Beaumont, OG) showed why they lead the way in the Chester & District Junior League Under 12s Division with an excellent 8-1 win at Westminster Park (Liam Eldridge) on Sunday.

Lewis Coppack was the man of the match for Blacon; goalkeeper Joseph Brackenbury for Park.

Chester Nomads Colts (Joe McDermott, George Mallinson, Andrew Fox; MoM – Fraser Willis) drew 3-3 at Vicars Cross Dynamos, Upton lost 2-1 at home to Ellesmere Port and Newton Athletic (Jack Stanton; MoM – James Collinson) were beaten 3-1 at Princes Villa.

A man-of-the-match show from Ben Harvey could not stop Vicars Cross Dynamos (Joe Cody) from losing 3-1 at Malpas & District (Will Morris 2, James Ferguson) on Sunday in Under 11s Division One.

Blacon Youth (MoM Sam Carroll 4, Harley Bennion, Brandon Burroughs, Callum Staff, Scott Ward, Calyn Barlow, Kieran Ball), 10-0 at home to Waverton Rockets, and JFC Boughton (Taylor Williams 4, Jordan Mather 2), 6-0 at home to Waverton Jets, won big.

In Division Two Upton were 6-1 winners at Groves Rangers as Westminster Park Tigers drew 3-3 at Princes Villa.

Tarvin Athletic notched a thumping 8-0 home victory over FC Porto Pumas in the Under 10s Yellow Division on Saturday.

William Brighton (3), Joseph Jenks (2), Sam Grinter (2) and Reuben Hewish got the goals and Charlie Marsh the man of the match award.

Chester Nomads (Will Robinson 3, Will Blance, Billy Mann) maintained their 100% winning start to the Blue Division with a 5-0 triumph at Malpas & District Reds (MoM – Iwan Nevitt).

Malpas & District Blacks fared better as they sent Elton Youth (Max Balmer; MoM – Oliver Handley) packing 9-1 to earn their maiden three points of the campaign with Rufus Bland, Craig Norris, Richard Morgan, MoM Andrew Sweetnam and Teddy Taylor sharing the strikes.Second-placed Upton Panthers won 2-1 at home to Waverton Jets.

Runaway Green Division leaders Waverton Arrows recorded a 6-3 success at Vicars Cross Dynamos (Finlay Murphy, Lewis Bainbridge, MoM Tom Roebuck).

There were first wins of the season for Newton Athletic Eagles (Danny Reisin 4, MoM Jake Raynor), 5-1 at home to Groves, and Vauxhall Motors Zafira, 3-2 at home to Waverton Bullets.

In the Red Division unbeaten Saughall Colts won 5-1 at home to Princes Villa.

Upton Pumas cruised to a 9-1 home victory over FC Porto as Waverton Rockets settled for 5-0 away to Vicars Cross Colts (MoM – James Sleddon-Plant).

MAN of the match Charlie Jones hit a super hat-trick and Jordan Davies and Johnny Lee also got in on the act as second-placed JFC Boughton won 5-2 at home to Vicars Cross Dynamos in Under 14s Division One on Saturday

Chester Nomads Colts (Sam Gareh; MoM – Ben Johnson) lost 3-1 at home to leaders Waverton Wasps, but there was a 4-2 home win for Chester Nomads (Cameron Black, MoM Sean Crawshaw, Jack Crossan, Colin Campbell) over Groves Athletic.

Waverton Bees (James Cope; MoM – George Thompson) lost 4-1 at Princes Villa Colts in Division Two.

A treble from man of the match Dominic Doherty and an Isaac Robinson effort saw Chester Nomads win 4-2 at home to Waverton Wasps on Sunday to remain unbeaten in Under 13s Division One.

Ben Middleton and Will Smith shared the MoM honour for pacesetting JFC Boughton (Christoph Azimale 2, John Davies, Cameron Gardner) in their 4-1 home victory over Upton.

Blacon Youth were beaten 3-0 at Groves Athletic.

Allessandro Malletta, Owen Mackin, Joe Wells, Harrison Ford and Connor Wilks did the damage as Hoole Hornets stormed to a 9-0 Division Two success at Vicars Cross Dynamos. Joe Wells, on his Hornets debut, was MoM.

Coss key for Colts

SAUGHALL Colts won an entertaining Under 15s Division game at home to Westminster Park 4-2 on Sunday.

Led by man of the match Liam Coss, Saughall’s attacking play was rewarded with Sam Davies, Aiden Heap, Rob Whales and Luke Beaumont goals.

Waverton came from behind to earn what could be a vital 2-1 victory at JFC Boughton (Joe Williams).

Waverton (James Mottershead 2, Jordan Sheen) are two points clear at the top of Under 16s Division Two after winning on Sunday 3-1 at Elton Youth, for Mitch Jarvis was on target and Joe Wardle man of the match.

Blacon Youth triumphed 2-0 at Chester Nomads Colts (MoM – Matty Jones).

Newton Athletic won the sole Division One game of the day 4-1 at home to Malpas & District.

Under 17s Division pacesetters Newton Athletic made it three wins from as many matches with a 5-0 victory at Blacon Youth on Sunday.

Upton are also going well, they won 5-1 at home to Vicars Cross Dynamos.
